Calexico Neighborhood House 4th Annual 3-mile walk “Moms
Helping Moms” fundraiser that took place on Saturday,
May 12th was a total success. A total of 120 participants
walked in the early morning hours in Calexico.
The funds raised will help to continue the mission of Calexico
Neighborhood House to provide shelter to homeless women and
children, food to persons who are hungry and assistance with
forms and applications. In all, $2,509 were raised to be
used for the continuing support of families in need.
Calexico Neighborhood House is grateful to the many individual
participants and donors, as well as, the many local businesses
that were generous with their contribution.
